Welcome!
Special occasions deserve the imagination and time that go into a well-dressed table. Tablescapes at Table Twenty-One is dedicated to those tablescapes I’ve personally designed to truly entertain my guests while making them feel pampered and special. Many are perfect for weddings, showers, rehearsal dinners, and engagement parties (I am, after all, a retired wedding designer!) as well as at-home entertaining.
There are several ways to find just what you’re looking for:
Click on a tab above to look at specific tablescape design areas. To check specific blog post entries, click on the drop-down “Monthly Archives” box, the “Post Calendar”, or on one of the photos to the right. Enter a specific search term in the box to the right marked Search. Click on the “Categories” box at the bottom right.
Kick off your shoes and stay awhile! Thank you for visiting, and I hope you enjoy!
Many heartfelt thanks to fellow blogger Laurie of Bargain Hunting & Chatting With Laurie.
She named one of my posts – Black, White & Red All Over - as one of her favorites!

I love this presentation. The colors are gorgeous!!

Hello Alycia: You don’t know me, however, we have a bit in common. I am from Kansas City, Missouri and I graduated from Central High School with your cousin Deidre. I have been following your Facebook page vicariously for many months, but I thought I would write to let you know how much I admire your design and style. Colin Cowie and Preston Bailey have bigger names but you are truly an inspiration to all of us who know that presentation is everything. I have a small company in Los Angeles called “I’ll See To It” and I do special events and provide services for people who know the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. Keep up the good work and I hope you don’t mind the intrusion.

Thank you, Jacqueline! Actually, I wish I could find THIS pattern in red! Oh…and tell your husband you’re trying to be a responsible citizen and waiting for just the right time to take the boxes to the recycling bin. That’ll take care of that!

First of all, thank you for visiting my little blog and for your wonderful comments. You may have made my hubby impossible to live with. Haha! Just kidding. Lots of people think he looks like that Viggo actor. One lady in our phramacy just about passes out everytime we go in. She’s so cute and I can’t blame her. Haha! Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
Secondly, I am happy that I figured out your user friendly format. Very cool!
And finally, your tablescapes are gorgeous!! I love them ALL!
Thank you again for visiting. My husband thanks you, too. :/

Hi Alycia
Thank you so much for stopping by the Back Porch. You are about 3.5 hours from us, I believe. Our daughter lives out at Independence. We aren’t far from I-70. You would absolutely love visiting All About Home.
I am trying to rebuild my blog. I have had a blog for 3.5 years. It vanished about three weeks ago. I can now get back into that blog but decided to move. Almost like starting over new!
I am going to browse your beautiful site.

I just talked to my Mom, and she corrected me: It was Troy, KS where we visited. Nonetheless, Troy, MO sounds like a wonderful place to visit for shopping!!! It’s possible that my husband and I passed through there on our recent visit to Tennessee. We went through St. Louis which is along I-70, so I’m just guessing. At any rate, beautiful display! I’m sorry to hear about your blog vanishing on you, too, but glad you were able to find it again. I didn’t know that could happen! Now I’m a little freaked out! I’ll have to take some kind of precaution for back up. Thanks for the heads up. ENjoy your weekend!!!

Hi, Katy, and thank you so much for stopping by! I’m glad my comment made you smile, but turnabout was only fair play because your family-style table was fantastic! I just think family- and Tuscan-style tables make dining so much more fun and the decorating possibilities are absolutely endless!!! The sight of multiple dishes and stemware and flatware and centerpiece items marching up the table…it takes my breath away just to think about it! SO…looking forward to keeping in touch as we scape away in the coming months! Have a terrific weekend, and I’ll see you next week on TT!

The progressive dinner looked really fun and the food sounded great. We had a family progressive dinner last Sunday and the extended family wnts to do one this Sunday. I love seeing everyone’s homes. I would love to see yours in person, wouldn’t that be fun! I am going to have to use the ribbons on the plates and chargers, that is so fun, like a present, which giving a dinner really is. We had a surprise 50th birthday party for a friend tonight at our house and it really felt like a present that we were giving. Have a great day!

Hi! Great to hear from you!!! Progressive dinners ARE fun…I’ve always thought it a good way to see how everyone’s homes are decorated (holidays or not!) and take the pressure off of a single household. I wish my extended family would want to do this…we’d have a blast! Glad you like the idea about the ribbon on the chargers. Just another way to add a little pizzazz, a little color. I’m always trying to think up new (an cost effective!) ways to bring a little pow to the table. Have a great weekend!!!!!!

Hi, Ginger! I’m not sure why my blog has a “no reply” email. I will have to dig in and try to find out why that is. Meanwhile, my email address is table21tablescapes@gmail.com. I will resend you the email I sent a few weeks ago so you will know what’s going on. It is so good to hear from you! Talk to you soon!!!

Thank you so much for your sweet comment about my screened in sun-room that Susan featured today for her Metemorphosis Monday.
We’ve enjoyed our little room so much this summer minus the bugs and the baking sun! Plus I can go in and change it up every once in a while to suite my mood and or season!
Thanks again,

Hi my sweet Alycia! New Year’s Eve I’m going to be kind of busy, I’ll be having the family for an early dinner, which I did my last table post of 2011 on. Most of them have parties to go to…we’re going to stay home and watch some movies and I am looking forward to do so! I didn’t want to go ahead with plans without thanking you, my dear blog friend, for all the wonderful posts you have shared and for the great inspiration from them I received, therefore, I only wish for you and yours the very best of everything for the New Year 2012!

Hi Dear Lady A,
It toke me forever to do. I am not good in this either, however, you have to register first on Networked blogs. Then, I manage to find out:You have to go to your own blog where you can add friends.
I will revert later and will give you the specific answer.
Thank you so much for coming by,
